About Kat
Kat was born in the picturesque town of Motueka, New Zealand. As a young adult she moved away to begin her overseas adventures which took her to many continents including Europe, Asia, Canada and Africa. This led her to an exciting career in international travel writing and consulting.
After years of exploring photography as a hobby within the travel industry Kat returned to NZ and embarked on full time study with Mel Phillips Photo School in Wellington to become a professional photographer. Because of her love of photography she excelled in the course and achieved a diploma with 'Excellence'.
Kat's Grandfather was also a professional photographer which is possibly where her passion began. Although, once she discovered her natural artistic and creative flair, her own journey commenced. Kat's personal motivation comes alive when creating a moment in time captured forever. She has very high standards and prides herself in the ability to offer professional unique image solutions.
With over 17 years in business, her experience lies in commercial works, digital enhancements and portraiture. In more recent years she has ventured into team and sports action photography. Kat strives to exceed clients' expectations and will work with you to tailor your requirements.
